There are certain features that can be telltale signs of a nakshatra, even if the natives do not always look overtly similar across all features. There are a few specific features I love to check for when I'm suspecting that Purva Phalguni पूर्व फाल्गुनी nakshatra (13° 20′ – 26°40′ Leo sidereal) may be present. This nakshatra tends to grant a sultry & natural beauty. These women are distinguished by their warm, rich coloring and their abundant, often times curly hair with a low and defined hairline, rounded forehead, and plentiful baby hairs. They seem to enjoy styling the hair & brows in a way that appears untamed, organic, and wild. This matches their overall hair/makeup aesthetic, which tends towards appearing non-artificial & effortless. Their mid-face demands attention through their especially horizontally long & bushy brows, as well as their large, reflective almond eyes, which are neutral to slightly downturned in tilt. Something that is especially apparent in person is the richness to their coloring; when their eyes are brown, they tend to have radiant and dramatic tones, with touches of gold and even reds (also making their way into the hair color).
Green eyes are also somewhat prevalent with this nakshatra, especially in dark forest or mossy tones. Purva Phalguni’s nose is most often short and upturned, with a pinched and narrow bridge that contrasts a more broad, thick, and structured (sometimes boxy) tip. Their mouths are generally long overall, with medium to full lips and a slightly squared lower lip. All of these features are set on a delicate square face shape, that is typically small overall.

As with everything in astrology, these features to check for are a tendency not a rule for Purva Phalguni's physical appearance. A person's other primary placements will bring in features as well, though one will tend to come to the surface the most strongly (relating to their dominant planet); one can have a Purva Phalguni primary placement but be dominated by one of their other primary placements instead. In this way, I seek in these posts to isolate the Purva Phalguni appearance influence as much as possible by finding the most consistent common physical ground amongst its natives, while having awareness that each individual you're seeing has other astrological influences at play as well that make them unique. I wanted to make these posts so that you don't have to rely on two people looking strikingly similar to know they share a nakshatra, but rather can more consciously/logically check for certain revealing features even amongst people who have many differences.
Being ruled by Venus, Purva Phalgunis have a strong inclination towards pleasure, art, and love. Birth time notes:
-Brooke Shields has reportedly given a 1:45pm birth time in the past to a writer, as well as 1:15-1:25pm birth time to an astrologer; she has either Purva Phalguni or Uttara Phalguni Ascendant.
-Criza Taa haș either Purva Phalguni Sun or Moon, as Sun shifts into Uttara Phalguni over the day and moon shifts between Magha and Purva Phalguni, but Purva Phalguni is present on either luminary for the majority of the day.
-Error: Alana Arbucci's (shown in my video-short) birth year is listed as either 1998 or 1997 online. Researching further, I found her to verify the 1998 birth time. In the past, she responded to me that her mother thought she was born around 1:20pm. This places her in trine, Venus-ruled Purva Ashada Moon (which can look very similar: see "Venus Dominant Women" on my channel).
